Fatwa CenterHer menses stops and then comes back
Question
Recently, I got married. 4 months has been passed.I have irregular peroids like once in 2 months. After married, i am getting periods every month. This is the 4 month.This month, during my menses, I have bleeding for five days and then the bleeding stops for three days. Then, on the 10th day the bleeding returns, but with less intensity. Request you to guide me incase of any problem.
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
You did not mention to us, dear sister, how many days the charges lasted after you became pure for three days; this is what you said that you had again blood discharges on the 10th day.
Anyway, what we say is that the bleeding that you had after it was interrupted is considered as menses if the total days from the first previous menses (which lasted for 5 days) to the last day of the new bleeding did not exceed 15 days, in which case, the new bleeding should be added to the previous bleeding and it is considered as one menses.
