Question
ASSLAMWEALYKUM , Am working with my father firm which we are a dealer for a big co., there are a dealers for other big co, our business same only the brand the different , here is my question , this days the co which we are dealer for they have a problem to supplie for us some products due to this case I can not full fill the need of my clients, then my answer to my clients I don’t have this prouduct pls see my comptietiers who they are dealers of the other co. Here is some important note the specification of the prouduct with my co.or with the other same. Some peoples advice me why you are not buy by other hand from your comptieter co the prouduct and take out the product from the drum and fill the prouduct to your drum and by saying this is my prouduct and sell to your customer . other wise you lose your customers ….etc case they give me to convince me but am not agree at all this is cheating and to open war on ALLAH order. Pls answer me this is my question who is the on the right me or the friends who give me the idea pls answer me.
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
There is no doubt that the sound opinion is what you mentioned that it is forbidden to do that act as this is cheating and deceiving which is forbidden because you give a wrong impression to the buyer and you cause harm to the product of other people as you sell it as if it were your product. All this is transgression against the rights of others without their permission and the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said in an authentic Hadeeth: “Whoever cheats us is not one of us.” [Muslim]
Of course, cheating and deceiving is forbidden and whoever fears Allaah and leaves matters in Allaah's Hands, Allaah will facilitate for him his affairs. For more benefit, please refer to Fatwa 116433.
