Question
My question is that there is a boy who is willing to marry me. His financial condition is average but our parents wont agree for the marriage because i belong from a rich family. Anyways he wont allow me to study in college after marriage. I feel really confused whether i should accept his proposal or no becuase i really want to study further and become a doctor to help other people of our community. Please let me know the fatwa whether this marriage can be beneficial or no
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
The most important thing that should be considered about this young man is his religion and his moral conduct, as the Sunnah has urged to choose a pious man in marriage. This is because if he loves his wife, he honors her and if he hates her, he does not oppress her, so he keeps her in kindness or separates from her in kindness.
Material differences do not Islamically prevent from marrying him. Moreover, the rich may become poor, and the poor may become rich. Marriage is one of the reasons for wealth, as proven by the texts of the Quran and Sunnah.
Therefore, if this young man is righteous, accept him as a husband, and you can condition on him to complete your studies, and if he agrees, he is obliged to fulfill this for you. You can also try to convince your parents to agree to marry him.
In doing so, you should first of all seek help from Allah Almighty and then the help of righteous people and those whom you hope that your parents will listen to them. If it is possible to convince them and the marriage took place, praise be to Allah, and it is hoped that it will be a successful marriage if it is done on sound foundations in choosing the husband. If the marriage is not fulfilled, then ask Allah to bless you with someone who is better than him.
