Praying Jumah prayer after the farewell Tawaf of Hajj

Question:

Just after the Farewell Tawaf there was the time of Juma prayer so we couldn't depart from Makkah without praying Juma prayer. Can you please tell us is there any expiation for this or is there any mistake on this matter?

Fatwa:
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad , is His slave and Messenger.
Imam Muslim narrated from Ibn Abbas that the Prophet said: "The people (pilgrims) used to leave Makkah in every other direction (and haphazardly). Thereupon the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Let none of you leave Makkah before making a Tawaf around the Ka'bah, as the last of Hajj rites."
Based upon this Hadith Muslim scholars agree that one should leave Makkah right after performing the farewell Tawaf. Staying for a short time does not have any effect on the Tawaf; the mentioned situation is considered as a slight delay, which does not influence Tawaf.
Allah knows best.
