Export agent must clarify service fee when quoting price

Question:

Assalamu Alaikum. I’m doing Export Service business, have office, Export licence account, pay all office expenses ,government taxes and all business expenses . The way I’m doing the business like this .When customer contact me and ask me same particular items ,I check the market provide him samples and send the samples without charge him the freight and the cost of the sample.When he accept the sample ,I send the Quotation include every thing Like my Service charge ,shipping charge, custom clearance charge, local transportation ,load & unload charge etc. When the customer satisfy agree the quotation and send his approval . I’m going to Start the job First he is going to send the amount to my account ,then I will purchase the goods as we agree Then I will send the goods to his destination . My Question Is: When I’m giving my quotation I’m not telling him my service charge separately all the charge I give him in one set. Is this way Haram, Please advise. Allah bless you

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad  sallallaahu  `alayhi  wa  sallam ( may  Allaah exalt his mention ) is His Slave and Messenger.

Apparently, you mean that the customer entrusts you to buy an item on his behalf and send it to him in return for a fee. Accordingly, it is necessary that you are honest with the customer and inform him of the item's price, freight costs and the fee that you request in return for your services. If he accepts, then all is well, but charging him a fee in return for the service without telling him the amount of that fee is impermissible.
