Talking does not invalidate Tayammum

Question:

My mother is forced to make Tayammum (dry ablution) in order to recite the Quran. Sometimes she orders me to do something. Does talking invalidate Tayammum?

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.

Talking does not invalidate Tayammum. Rather, Tayammum is invalidated by the nullifiers of Wudhoo’ (ablution), the ability to use water or the availability of water after the person has performed Tayammum because of the absence of water.

Allaah Knows best.
