Giving the meat of the sacrifice and Aqeeqah to non-Muslims

Question:

why meat for qurban and aqiqah can't give to non muslim.

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.

The jurists may Allaah have mercy upon them have different opinions on the ruling of giving charity from the meat of the sacrifice to a non-Muslim; some of them permitted it, and this is the view we adopt in Islamweb as we consider it to be the preponderant opinion.

However, the Shaafi'ee School of jurisprudence forbade it. The reason why they prohibited giving in charity from the meat of the sacrifice to a non-Muslim is that they consider this act (donating from the meat of the sacrifice) as obligatory, and the obligatory charity should not be given to a non-Muslim, in analogy to Zakat.

Few other scholars may Allaah have mercy upon them are of the view that it is disliked to give charity from the meat of the sacrifice to a non-Muslim.

The ruling of 'Aqeeqah is the same as that of the sacrifice, as stated by the scholars may Allaah have mercy upon them.

Allaah Knows best.
