My question is that if a person following the Imaam in prayer and does not act all the way the Imaam acted. For example, if the Imaam delays (sitting of rest) in between the first and next Raka'h and raising his hands with Takbeer while still sitting and the follower did not observe same, instead he stand up from Sajdah and did not say Takbeer.. My mother went for Hajj and during Tawaaf the Athaan occurred. Everyone had to read Namaaz where they were standing, in front of her and behind her were 2 men. Is her Salaat valid, as she has read that a woman cannot read Salaat behind any man acting as Imaam? Please clarify. If it is not valid then what is the compensation for this? .. More

If a person knows the most Quran out of a group of people, he should lead the Salah, but what if he didn't want to lead because he knows him self. He knows that he most likely will do Reah (wind), which is when leading his intention will change for other then Allaah. Is this person allowed not to lead the Salah? For fear of Reah. .. More

The other day I was in the Masjid praying next to a man who smelled very bad. I was so disturbed by his odor that I lost focus in my prayer; I was literally turning my face the other way so I won't smell this uncomfortable odor. When praying on a prayer rug (carpet), is it best to stand with both feet fully placed on the prayer rug, or is it acceptable to pray with the front of the feet on the rug and the back of the feet off the rug? I got married recently and found out that my husband does not know the Arabic prayers read in Salaat.
