Praying with a slight deviation from Qiblah
Salaam alia kum,
We have installed a new carpet (containing rows) in our office prayer room. The Qibla diection is offset between 4 - 8 %. We are aware that the direction is offset, do we need to re-install the carpet in the correct direction or is it ok to continue praying offset by 4 - 8%. Please send Fatwa soon.

While traveling on the freeway, we made a stop to make salaats of Maghrib and 'Ishaa'. Using the prayer mat to indicate the direction of Qiblah is not an innovation
Most of the mosques in western countries are homes which are used as mosques, that is to say the one who enters them does not know the direction of Qiblah if he is not usually praying in the place.
