Question
Is the meat of an animal sacrificed by a Muslim woman with her own hand halal?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
A woman is like a man regarding the entire rulings of religious obligations except in what the Sharee’ah distinguished a man from the woman. Therefore, if a Muslim woman slaughters a sacrifice and mentioned the Name of Allaah when doing so, and fulfills all the other conditions of Islamic slaughtering that are mentioned in Fatwa 89723, then what she slaughtered is lawful to eat, and there is no difference between the animal which she slaughtered and that which is slaughtered by a man.
It is confirmed that a woman slaughtered a sheep with a stone, and the Prophet was asked about this, and he ordered people to eat from it. [Al-Bukhari]
