Followers of the so-called 'Chrislam' are disbelievers

Question

Can you pls briefly describe the blend religion "Chrislam"? Is it acceptable worldwide and can a muslim woman allow to marry people following this faith?

Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

The religion of Islam is clear; it is the truth which was revealed from Allaah to His Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) and Allaah will not accept any religion other than Islam. Allaah says (what means): {And whoever desires other than Islam as religion-never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers.} [Quran 3:85]

The statement that there is a religion which is a mixture of Islam and Christianity is false and unfounded. It is an innovated sect invented by some misguided people who claim that the Quran is not complete in the same way that the Bible is not complete, and that Allaah wanted to fulfill His word through them. There is no doubt that this is Kufr (disbelief in Allaah The Exalted).

If a person believes in this false belief and follows this sect, he is a Kaafir (disbeliever) because he denies the words of Allaah who says (what means): {This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion.} [Quran 5:3]

Therefore, it is not permissible for a Muslim woman to marry a man who believes in such distorted and deviated beliefs; Allaah says (what means): {And do not marry polytheistic men [to your women] until they believe. And a believing slave is better than a polytheist, even though he might please you. Those invite [you] to the Fire, but Allaah invites to Paradise and to forgiveness, by His permission. And He makes clear His verses [i.e. ordinances] to the people that perhaps they may remember.} [Quran 2:221]
