Is the Gospel a heavenly revealed Book?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.
The Gospel, in principle, is one of the heavenly revealed Books that Allaah the Almighty revealed to His prophets. Allaah the Almighty revealed the Gospel to ‘Eesaa (Jesus, son on Mary) 
as noted in the verse that says (what means): {Then We sent following their footsteps Our messengers and followed [them] with Jesus, the son of Mary, and gave him the Gospel.} [Quran 57:27]
However, the Gospel was later distorted and underwent additions, deletions and replacements. This fact is stated in the Quran, which is sufficient as a witness and also supported by impartial scientific verification.
