Allah's will that parents of Prophet, sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam, be in hell

Question

Assalaamu alaykum. On this page (https://www.islamweb.net/en/fatwa/2645253), you mentioned that both the parents of Prophet Muhammad, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, are in Hell and cited some hadiths, but how is it possible that the last Prophet is born out of polytheists or non-Muslims? Why did Allaah not chose or cause His Prophet to be born from devouted parents instead of non-Muslims?

Answer

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

Allah Almighty predestined with His Knowledge and His Wisdom that the parents of the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) be as he informed us about them, and this does not decrease from his status, just as the fact that the father of Ibraaheem (Abraham), may Allah exalt his mention, is in Hellfire does not decrease from the status of Ibraaheem.

Allah is not asked about what He does, as He says (what means): {He is not questioned about what He does, but they will be questioned.} [Quran 21:23]

Ibn Jareer at-Tabari may Allaah have mercy upon him said:

No one should question the Lord of the Mighty Throne about what He does with His Creation, in using them in what He wills of life and death, honor or humiliation, and other of His rulings about them; because they are His creation and His servants; all of them exist within His kingdom and His dominion. Indeed, the judgment is His judgment, and the decree is His decree; there is absolutely no entity above Him to ask Him: why did You do such and such, or why did You not do such and such.

Hence, the servant has to submit himself to what Allah has decreed and predestined.

Allah knows best.
