Question
recently i have been overcome with doubts in the heart and lost my belief in allah, im trying to get back my certainty and become muslim, my question is do i need to contact all the people who think im muslim and tell them im not anymore, obviously that would be very hard for me and embarassing if i dont do that will i be guilty of hypocrisy. or do i only need to tell them if they ask if im muslim. please also ask allah to guide me back thank you.
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
We ask Allah to guide you and make you firm on your faith.
What you are suffering from are nothing but whispers and illusions. Thanks to Allah, you are upon Islam and did not leave the fold of Islam.
You can inform everyone around you that you are Muslim and proclaim this aloud to people and express your joy and gratitude to Allah for His bounty. Do not tell anyone other than this, and do not inform anyone about your whispers and illusions. You need to ignore these doubts and illusions and strive to get rid of them because this is the only remedy to what you are suffering from.
