Is it kufr to play as a character that does kufr in a video game?. I mean like playing as a witch or wizard.

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.

It is not permissible to play with games that include Kufr (disbelief), or the rituals of disbelief. It is also impermissible to use characters whose usage expresses disbelief, its people, or its rituals, because that indicates being satisfied with that.

However, this, by itself, does not constitute disbelief unless it involves being pleased with Kufr.
