Marrying the Daughter of the Woman with Whom He Committed Zina

Question

If a person committed Zina with a married woman and he is single what is the "ruling" for each of them? Can he marry her daughter? Is her daughter is Halal for him? Thanks.

Answer

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

My dear brother, as you know Zina (adultery or fornication) is a grave major sin. Allah Says (what means): {And do not approach unlawful sexual intercourse. Indeed, it is ever an immorality and is evil as a way.} [Quran 17:32]

Allah has forbidden all ways which may lead to this sin. He has forbidden us from looking at non-Mahram women, enjoying their voice, being alone with them, and other ways which may lead to what is forbidden. If you committed this big sin, you should repent to Allah and multiple your good deeds and supererogatory acts of worship. Allah Says (what means): {Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous work. For them Allah will replace their evil deeds with good. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.} [Quran 25:70]

Since you have committed adultery with this woman, you should not marry her daughter.

We ask from Allah to protect you from evil deeds and bless you.

Allah knows best.
