Question
What is the status of the Hadeeth in which the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said that the soldiers of Egypt were the best soldiers on earth?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and messenger.
The Hadeeth in question was mentioned by Al-‘Ajlooni 
without referring to either its source or status. It was not mentioned in any other available reference.

that they would conquer Egypt and ordered them to treat its people well since they had right to sanctity and ties of kinship. [Muslim]
Az-Zuhri stated that the ties of kinship came from the fact that Haajar, the mother of Ismaa‘eel (Ishmael), may Allaah exalt their mention, was Egyptian; and the right to security was for the sake of her husband prophet Ibraaheem (Abraham)
