Question

Does the woman have to wash her private parts after urinating with her hand while using water or is abundant water sufficient?

Accepted Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.

What is required is to cleanse the place from any impurity, and it is not an obligation to wash using the hand and water unless this is necessary to obtain cleanliness, otherwise it is sufficient to pass abundant water on the impure place.
