Zakat on a long dormant bank account
I have some money in a bank another country, and I had been paying Zakaat on the money while I was there, when it reached the Nisaab.

Paying Zakat in installments
As one year completed on my gold I had to pay Zakaat on it but I didn't have enough money to pay so I paid 1/3 and say as I get more money I will pay later. Estimating Zakat, and Allaah giving power to read minds
I have two questions which I wanted to be answered:
1) Can a person give Zakaat by estimation and by being sure that the Zakaat amount is more than what he acquires?

Brother giving Zakat to his sister
I would like to clear some doubts about Zakaat. In your site Fatwa:84467 you said that brother and sister can give Zakaat. But in Fatwa:87707 you say brother cannot give Zakaat if it is compulsory to spend on her. I do not understand the difference. Hope you will answer this question. .. More
