Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.

All perfect praise be to Allaah Who guided you to Islam: that is indeed a great favor for which thanks should be given to Allaah.

Dear sister, you should know that it is obligatory upon the Muslim woman to wear Hijab in front of men who are non-Mahram to her, and it is impermissible for her to be careless about it.

Being so, it is impermissible for you to take off Hijab when you go to your country or anywhere else. If there is no way for you to visit your country and observe your Hijab, along with the other rites of your religion, then do not go there as long as the situation is as you have mentioned.

In fact, the Muslim’s migration from a country where he can not establish the rites of his religion is obligatory, whereas his staying in it, while being able to migrate from it, is unlawful, let alone his going to it.

Allaah Knows best.
