Illegitimate child may use biological father's name to avoid embarrassment
Salam alaykum My question is I am a revert and after I become muslim I had a child out of zina i am a single mother and am very well supported by my non muslim mother father. Compound names are permissible but may cause confusion
In what way shall i name my child. Seeing my name is Mohammed Safiuddin Khan and my fathers name is Mohammed Imaduddin Khan. Should i name him as Eg: Mohammed Salahuddin Khan or Mohammed Salahuddin Safiuddin Khan but that would make it long. The order of shaving and slaughtering in the ‘Aqeeqah
Request you to advise us on the sequence cocerning aqiqah.
Should the hair of the new born child be shaved first and then slaughter the goat or first the goat has to be slaughtered and then the the head of the new born shaved after the slaughter.

Babies born before six months into pregnancy may survive through medical intervention
As-salaamu 3laikum, In one fatwa you mentioned that the minimum period of pregnancy is six months. Here in a magazine about pregnancy they said that some babies have been born at 23 weeks old and survived. Does this mean that they miscalculated the length of the pregnancy when they estimated it in the first place and it was in reality more than 23 weeks,.. More

The names Rabaab and Mannaa‘ are not forbidden
Alsalam Alaikum Someone told me the girls name Rabab is haram because it means lordship. And they used ayah 39 from surat Yusuf as proof when he said a'arbab.
